I spoke with Bob Stoops earlier this morning. He confirmed to me he is going to retire as head coach at the University of Oklahoma. I was holding the news until Stoops could meet with his team today at 3:15, but that couldn't hold any longer as Berry Tramel has reported the same. Bob told me he expects Lincoln Riley to be named his successor. That is still up to some things for the Board of Regents to decide. I'll have more in a bit.
