Bozo CBS announcers make bold prediction...

I can see this happening, my own personal opinion is that another clemson matchup wouldn't bode well for the tigers, then there is the selection committee which nobody can figure out, imo, I'd love to see the dawgs for the trophy

ESPN's actions this morning go far beyond the pale.

On Sportscenter this morning a faux panel featuring people liike Paul Finebaum expressed their faux concerns that about the faux possibilities that the selection committee will "gerrymander" the processs to select certain teams in order to match their choices for their desired matchups for the New Year's playoff games, because in their faux concerns, "it's obvious that Alabama is one of the best four teams in the country."

This last minute gambit, blowing their power trumpet to favor their their cash cow conference is the last thing we need.

This partisan sensationalism to protect their cash cow conference in shameless and dangerous, risking the integrity of rhe process to fit their greedy aims.

How dare they?

If OU is in the playoffs, then why even worry about whether Alabama makes it in or not?? Is it jealousy, or are some OU fans scared of playing Alabama?? Would really like to know why so many are hung up on obsessing over Alabama??

It's just a commentary on the sad state of affairs at ESPN, but I'm with you in that if OU is in, that's all that really matters.

As an aside, I think both OSU and AL match up poorly with OU. Neither one has the passing attack that a team will have to have if it wants more than a puncher's chance against Oklahoma.

The Sooners likely would make cold cuts to either one. Bama would be helpless, and you bet the Sooners would do to the 'eyes what they did to TCU. We are what they dream about in their nightmares at night.

I really don't care who makes the playoffs. The Sooners are in. If ESPN had their way Bama would be in. They don't.

I still want OU to play in the Rose, and it looks like I'll get my wish. Day game, Rose Bowl Parade, the whole shooting match. I'm giddy.

I love our upcoming match-up vs. UGA since it will be the 1st meeting ever on the gridiron field. Should be a great match-up and the D will have its full stopping Chubb. However UGA also has not faced an offense like Baker and company. I really like our chances vs. UGA and even Clemson this year.

As for the Bama-TOSU debate I would go with Bama because I think they are the better team and TOSU should not be given a pass in regard to that blowout loss to Iowa for their second loss. Talk about Karma for them considering that they have gotten a free pass now twice by this commitee over more deserving teams ( TCU and PSU). Hell just put in UCF and keep them both out so they can matc them up against one another in a NY6 game to setlle their bitching. I admit its humorous watching those two fan bases go at each other claiming that the other feels entitled or whatever.
