I see where we are projected to play A&M if we win the big 12. Not sure if I can get too excited about it, but I think it would be a good game.

The Cotton Bowl will be a very good draw for a Sooner/Aggie game. But.... travel is not going to be a biggee this year. Th B10 is struggling right now.

I watched the A&M/LSU game. A&M's defense is decent. Their offense is not that good. CBS has OU/Wisconsin in the Cotton Bowl. I'm hoping Oregon drops another game or two and OU gets in the Fiesta Bowl vs NW. We need to get by Iowa State #2.
I watched that game and came away wondering how in the hell A&M is ranked No. 5. I thought their qb Mond is absolutely atrocious completing around 30% that game only to be upended in suckiness by the LSU qb, the first one that started. A&M MAY have a decent defense but it was damn hard to tell because LSU looked literally that incompetent on offense.

As Mond goes, so goes their offense. When he's on, which isn't that often, they're decent. He's a lot like Sanders at OSU, but maybe a little better running it.

I should have known the CFP goes through the Rose and Sugar bowl this year and we probably won’t be in the final four barring major meltdowns to the teams ahead of us. We need a solid finish of course and hopes of landing in the most prestigious of the remaining options. If the Cotton is our fate it will be Wednesday December 30 at Jerrah World in Arlington so weather will not be any issue which is good

When you lose only one game in the SEC you're ranked high. Not much different than if we only had one loss. OU too would be ranked much much higher.

The committee has to go. Never was a good idea to begin with. Imo of course.

Mond really isn't that good. IMG is a clownhouse institution. Football fans suffer thus. Aggy is riding on the ineptitude of the elected committee. Imo of course. 😁

Didn't Mond say he was like the best QB in the SEC? I've never been that impressed

When the BCS was around IIRC strength of schedule was 2/3 of the equation. Well just like voting in person, that eliminated the opportunity for manipulation drastically. Apparently We can’t handle too much transparency. I’m still for SOS counting 2/3 and the human element at 1/3 or less.

Bcs formula was and still is better than the committee. Will always be. AP has always been right.
