So.....OU lost to a Houston team heading to the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl against San Diego State.

Houston was a very bipolar team this year.

They beat quality teams:
- # 7 OU at a "neutral" site
- #13 Lousiville
- A solid 9-3 Tulsa squad

And then lost to...SMU

One can forgive losses to quality Navy & Memphis squads.

The Cotton Bowl has Western Michigan vs Wisconsin. Maybe a good match up, maybe not.....but Jerry World may not have a crowded stadium. Does anyone in Texas really care about two northern teams ?

Looks like the Big XII certainly has a number of challenging matchups. It's going to be difficult to win more than it loses.

Poor Wisconsin...they had to play "sisters of the poor" TCU some years ago, and now they are having to play Western Michigan. Lol

Western Michigan is a no win game for Wisconsin. If they win, people will say well they should have own they are from the Big 10. Hopefully Wisconsin loses and people will talk about this game and stop talking about Boise beating OU.

Not sure playing an 8-4 sec team is a no win bowl as well? Sooners need to win this one.
