Coach.

I think Lincoln Riley making several millions a year & he seems very happy here, he will stay at OU for many years. I think after this season his contract will be extended.

And by the way don't ever listen to Dean Blevins.

He said several times "that there was a 75% chance that Bob Stoops would leave Oklahoma to be a head coach elsewhere.". He said Bob was close friends with the Cleveland Brown owner, that Bob was a Catholic & he loved Notre Dame, Ohio State as Bob grew up in Ohio, Florida where he was an assistant head coach & the Florida AD really wanted Bob & visited with him at Bob's home, and Iowa where Bob played college football.

Dean even said near the end of this season before the West Virginia game that OU had only a "35% of making the playoffs."

Deano is always wrong.

No reason at all for LR to go to the NFL. He was very humbled and honored to take over for Bob Stoops at OU, what seems like a dream job for him right now. If he was planning on going to the NFL, why would he get so emotional when landing recruits? LR isn't hurting for money, has a chance to build a dynasty and seems to really enjoy recruiting, why would he give all of that up at such an early age to test the unfriendly waters of the NFL?

Hell, even the mighty Nick Saben SUCKED in the NFL.

Ya NFL is a different animal. Heck even Jimmy Johnson was incredible in Dallas, then was pretty lackluster at Miami. As a head coach you just don't have the control over your organization in the NFL that you do at a college program.

Jimmy Johnson's success in Dallas was a result of the most one-sided trade in the history of the NFL. Just as it was when he was at U of Miami, he had far and away the best players.

Thats true. But overall a college coach has much more control over the players he can bring into the program than a head coach in the NFL.
