the thing I have found most shocking about this bowl season is how terrible the big XII is at tackling. It's not that the conference doesn't play defense, or that they are totally physically over matched (though there is some of that), it's that they can't put two arms around a guy and pull him to the ground.
You'd think that with the fast paced passing offenses in the big XII, resulting in twenty percent more plays each game, that Big XII teams should be even more practiced at tackling (more plays, more opportunities). Also wth spread offenses getting people out in space, the defenses should have more experience, relatively, with one on one tackling. But no; it's like every opposing team in these bowl games looks like they are covered in grease. The tackling, or lack of, is embarrassing.
