Oklahoma State is playing well right now. If Sooners aren't shooting lights out, it could get ugly.

The Sooners were 5-10 in road or neutral site games this season. Despite the strong showing at home vs. ISU on Friday, I'm a "Debbie Downer" about their chances against the Pokes in KC on Wednesday.

No reason not to be a downer. It's been an epic collapse since the tight loss to Texas in their 1st meeting. Manek and Trae both struggled, Manek mightily. McGusty floundered as a 6th man. Matt Freeman and Jordan Sheppard were ghosts. Latin and McNeace were hot and cold and both average defensively. Rashard Odomes does what he does. The best thing we've had in the back 2/3 of the conference season was a resurgence of Christian James.

I have no real expectations of Trae coming back, but I'd really like to see James continue to develop his mid range shot, toughness going to the rim, his intensity on defense. He could really be a Nolan Johnson type guy next year.
