OU at Kansas. OU should be #1 in the coaches poll. I think it would be the first time since 1990. Blake's team got to #2. I could be wrong. First time #1 will play #2 since 2013. First time #1 vs #2 between two conference teams since 2007. Should be fun.

Correct, the last time OU was #1 was 1990, entering the NCAA tournament that year. Big disappointment in that we lost in the 2nd round that year.

Last Time OU was involved in a #1 vs #2 was... against Kansas in the Big 8 tourny in 1990. OU won 95-77.

I thought that was it. I was heartbroken sitting in my grandmothers living room when Rick Fox made a layup at the buzzer to beat us in the tournament. I was 15. We were supposed to snap Carolina's double digit streak of sweet 16 appearances that year. Didn't happen.

Hated that guy the rest of his career, including in the NBA.
