Word is out OSU's All-Big 12 wide receiver Tylan Wallace has torn his ACL and is out for the year. That would devastate the Cowboy's powerful one-two punch offense of Chuba Hubbard inside/outside run game and Tylan W inside/outside pass game. More pressure on freshman QB Spencer Sanders when he is just finding his rhythm after a very convincing road win in Ames last Saturday.

yes they did. apparently being one-dimensional (allegedly) was a plus instead of a minus....especially when you have mr hubbard. he's like another thurman thomas perhaps? or better?? heard on the radio it was the first time a running back had over 200 yds against a gary patterson coached TCU team. i trust our new man will have a defensive game plan that puts more weight on young Sanders shoulders when we visit them later this month. if he steps up so be it...but don't get beat by a KNOWN quantity. and we KNOW chubba is very very good, while Spencer Sanders is just a frosh...albeit a talented one.

I think you're overrating Hubbard more than a little with that comparison. Thurman Thomas was an elite stud, who proved himself in hs and college and the NFL. Hubbard is a talent, but not nearly as accomplished as that.

He hasn't really played anybody worth a darn on defense. They have one quality win, over KState. All the other good teams they've played were losses. And against the better teams, he's looked less impressive.
