In my opinion here are the rankings. Not really sold on Baylor....now they must play without one of their best defensive players.

1) Sooners
2) Horned Froggies
3) Shorthorns
4) Bears
5) Cyclones
6) Little Brother
7) Wildcats
8) Red Raiders
9) Mountaineers
10) Jayhawks

KC I am curious why you would have TCU second. To be honest I think they may be more towards the bottom than the top. I am starting to think that Gary Patterson's time at TCU is nearing an end. I would go this way myself.

1. Oklahoma
2. Texas - I still think this team may lose a couple of more games this season though. But for now I think they have earned this spot.
3. Iowa State - Yea I know they lost to BU 23-21 and that heartbreaker goof job to Iowa but I think they are starting to find a groove. Seems over the last 2 weeks the offense for them is starting to come around and only 3 points separate them from being undefeated and I think an argument could be made for them as having the best D in the conference.
4. Baylor - They may be 6-0 but they could also easily be 4-2. I didn't see the Tech game but from what I heard the Red Raiders got shafted on a call late in the 4th that cost them the game. Something about a fumble that was over ruled. Still think they got very lucky against ISU.
5. Oklahoma State - Gundy has to be scratching his head after the Tech game. This is a team that gave Texas all it wanted and could have won it if not for some really questionable play calling.
6. Texas Tech - If given time I think Matt Wells will build a nice team in Lubbock. This year they have been somewhat like Jackyl and Hyde. However I think ISU will handle business this weekend against them but at the same time they just may pull the minor upset.
7. TCU - They are somewhat like Tech, up and down but the defense has really been poor for them over the past 2 out of 3 games. ISU ripped them a new one just last week 49-24.
8. West Va - OU should rip this D to shreds this weekend and ISU did manage to hold them to 14. I just think HC Brown has some work to do in order for them to become a middle of the pack team in the conference.
9. Kansas State - Despite being outscored 57-25 in it's first 2 conference game I think they have the best shot at moving up. Then again where else can they go. They looked really good in the first 3 games but now the defense has taken a step back. I believe though out of all the new hires KSU had the best one in Klieman.
10. Kansas - Les Miles may have taken on more grass than he can chew taking this job.

I think the Froggies have defensive talent that can turn the corner. SMU loss was early, and they are playing lights out. The Clones loss was their bad loss. I just have that feeling they will be the one team to watch down the stretch. They will beat the Shorthorns at home.

Fair enough. As for the Longhorns I said going into the season they would lose 4 games before it was said and done. If they do though our win over them is going to look less impressive.

They have way too many injuries to really be a strike force team. Off to the Texas Bowl...so I guess they are kind of back LOL.

Not trying to jack this thread, but this was a major shafting.
In overtime, Baylor center thought QB was lined up under center (he didn't realize the QB wasn't rubbing on his......?) when he was actually in the Shotgun.
Center snaps the ball to his ass and it falls to the ground. TT immediately falls on the ball.
The call??
Yellow Flag. Illegal motion on the Center - the one who snapped the ball to a QB who wasn't there.
All Tech has to do is take their possession and score a FG or TD and win the game.

Wanna guess who got reprimanded & fined for that train wreck?

Thanks for that info.

And he nails it...the irrelevance in this conference is deep.
guys (and girl) its basically the same story we've seen for a decade. ou owns the big 12. without the relevance of texass (no sam you're not back. dipsh*t) its a one-horse race and those aren't too exciting for fans OR players. which of course means we'll lose one of the road games? please no!

Tech dominated OSU in a game that wasn't as close as 45-35 would show. They were playing their backup quarterback, and shut down OSU's young quarterback.

Despite that I still think OSU is the better team. But in honestly the spots 4 to 8 are all pretty interchangable in my opinion. All those teams are capable of beating one another.
