What a lousy turf job....have never seen a game held up for turf repairs. Looks like it could be a good finish.

Nebraska @ OU circa 1992 or so. Schooner turned too sharp & gouged the old turf. Duct tape; funny and embarrassing

I miss the old Schooner, but I guess that the liability costs were finally too big a burden.

I used to pass it on the turnpike headed home. The guy who owned and cared for it could disassemble it and put it on a small trailer he pulled with a pickup. He condensed the schooner into stack of parts about 2 ft tall. The ponies were snug under the shell on his truck. It’s a much bigger operation today I suppose.
