Anybody else worried about bedlam? I’m not confident in the offense and that’s crazy for me to say.
Speaking of Thurman, watched the 1985 Ice Bowl last night. Though the field was a sheet of ice, OU was able to score three times (1 TD / 2 FG) and Thurman and the boys didn't score at all.Keep in mind Thurman and B Sanders never beat us.
We are going to have to score at least one more point than them

Was fun watching Switzer and seeing the players from that NC team - Holieway, Tillman, Carr, Stafford, Anthony Phillips, Mark Hutton, Keith Jackson, Migliazzo, Bosworth, Dante Jones, Sonny Brown, Casillas, Steve Bryan. Mike Winchester (2 FGs while slipping and sliding).

I have no way to gauge our team. Under Riley OU offense has always been pretty top notch but right now our defense is keeping us in games. Not sure what to think going into BedlamAnybody else worried about bedlam? I’m not confident in the offense and that’s crazy for me to say.
That loss was a team loss.Exactly 10 years since Laundry Jones lost in Stoolwater... a crushing defeat of 10-44.
9 years prior to that (2002) was 28-38 in Stoolwater.

The Aggie that lived across the street from my mother asked if we wanted to buy his tickets to the game. Almost did it. Really glad we didn't.

I agree, hoping Lincoln will have the boys readyWe’ll need everything and the kitchen sink to win the next two weeks in a row.
It must be done so BOOMER !
No dropped passes like the last couple of weeksWe need some good blocking and great receiving from Drake Stoops and many others
Recipe, Please, KC???
Always a little bit nervous for bedlam! This year, more than usual.Anybody else worried about bedlam? I’m not confident in the offense and that’s crazy for me to say.

Worried, nah. Gundy is gonna do Gundy. Just a matter of the offense, i.e. LR, doing what is necessary. I would like to see how good the defense is with an offensive game that compliments it...so they don't tire in the second half. Boomer Sooner!Anybody else worried about bedlam? That was in Norman. We're talking about Stoolwater here.2014 loss, punting to Tyreek Hill
I've got to see it to believe it, how on earth did we manage to score 37? We must have brought in the 3rd string qb that nobody has schemed for yetFYI: Current simulation game on YOU TUBE, OU 37 - OSU 16
The QB for OSU has a history of turnovers. If the OU defense comes out on fire I can see them remembering who they are.I've got to see it to believe it, how on earth did we manage to score 37? We must have brought in the 3rd string qb that nobody has schemed for yet
I'm sorry but OU beating OSU will never be considered and upset...ever.If OU wins it will be an upset.
What I've seen from both teams so far this season doesn't favor OU.
If OU can hold OSU to no more than 24 points, I think there's a better chance for OU to win. It worked vs Iowa State (21 points), who beat OSU.
And of course, OU's offense needs to get off its butt.
This year, probably the first time ever, it is. OSU is favored.I'm sorry but OU beating OSU will never be considered and upset...ever.
I guess I look at it this way: if a gun is pointed at my head and I am told to pick the winner of the game I would pick OU.This year, probably the first time ever, it is. OSU is favored.
It will be a fun game to watch. Sanders is very much like Williams. Williams may be a better athlete but Sanders has the 3 years of experience. Neither responds to pressure very well and I expect both to get a ton on Saturday. I fully expect the game will be won by the QB who doesn't make the boneheaded mistake.Sanders does not impress me much. He takes off running at slightest pressure. Then when pocket collapses, he makes bad decisions. Purdy, Kolar, and Hall were much bigger challenges in my opinion. Guess the DL needs to pin their ears back and turn this game into the Sooners favor.
I'm an OSU fan, if someone pointed a gun at my head, I'd probably pick OU as well.I guess I look at it this way: if a gun is pointed at my head and I am told to pick the winner of the game I would pick OU.
I hope that is not the case. If OSU beats OU and Baylor back to back they get the nod over ND; this is assuming Bama loses SEC championship game.I'm an OSU fan, if someone pointed a gun at my head, I'd probably pick OU as well.
In actuality, this is feeling a LOT like 2011. We lost to ISU in a game we shouldn't have, and if we win out, we'll probably end up just outside the playoff for someone who wont have won a conference (like a ND or a second SEC team). Just like OSU's success ushered in the end of the 2-team championship, we'll usher in next year's 8 or 12 team championship. But we won't actually make the invitational.
I agree with you, but OSU is lagging way behind Bama or ND in the committee's most important metric:I hope that is not the case. If OSU beats OU and Baylor back to back they get the nod over ND; this is assuming Bama loses SEC championship game.
I will say Bama being ranked 3rd is an absolute joke based on their results and loss to an overly ranked, 3-loss A$M team with a backup QB...it's a fu$#ing joke.
