Just read this from a Florida mod.
Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star safety Jordan Battle thought his recruitment was done after committing to the Ohio State Buckeyes in late June. However, the recent news of OSU head coach Urban Meyer being placed on administrative leave has caused Battle to open his recruitment back up a bit. Since that news dropped, Battle planned official visits to both Florida and Oklahoma. The talented safety mentioned seeing the Sooners on September 29 when Baylor comes to Norman, while saying a trip to see the Gators is likely October 6 when LSU travels to Gainesville. As Battle awaits the fate of Meyer’s future, he admits the Miami Hurricanes are still No. 2 on his list. Battle already used an official visit to see the Hurricanes in June, but he mentioned getting back down to see Miami for an unofficial visit.
Four-star running back Kenny McIntoshwas unable to make it to Oklahoma at the end of July, but now the Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) University School standout plans to use an official visit to see the Sooners on September 29 when Baylor visits Norman. McIntosh then plans to use an official visit to see Penn State and Miami, but no dates has not been locked in for either just yet. Many still feel the Hurricanes are the favorites to land McIntosh’s commitment, but he still has not committed to UM yet, and many figured he would be on board already. If anyone could give Miami a run for McIntosh, it might be Oklahoma.
Would be nice if we could flip Battle, he’s good friends with Jaden Davis.
