Baylor on the ropes against Liberty

Sputter stumble splat. Better break the tarps out of storage. KU may have found way out of cellar. I look forward to Sooners pummeling these frauds again this year. Bible thumper bowl goes Old Testament Yahweh on these scumbags.

Another stain on Big 12 relevance.

Agree CT. I can't stand Baylor for what went on down there but with Texas and Baylor laying eggs it just adds more fuel to ESPN's and every other news outlets fire against the conference. The B12 is already even at this point in the season fighting for a spot in the playoffs due to lack of respect and then Baylor goes out and does this.

Texas I think was no surprise really because many thought there pre-season rankings were a little over the top reaction to the Herman hire. I do think Herman will bring Texas back but just not in one this initial season. With this past weekend this next weekend becomes even more important for the conference to make a statement and that means OU needs to beat Ohio State and low and behold Texas needs to somehow bounce back and beat USC who looks very beatable after week 1.

I am far from a conference honk and really don't care what anyone else does as long as OU wins but with all the backlash and disrespect shown by the media to the conference we need the rest of the conference to step up and be good from top to bottom. Laying eggs like this by Baylor and even Texas isn't going to change those views anytime soon.

All the more reason OU needs to leave this dumpster fire of a Conference. Hopefully TCU can throttle that powerhouse sec team arkie this week. :p

This is the Virginia version of Bedlam I suppose. I'm glad we host Wva this year. They are showing some life. Imagine I'll pull for the Conference tonight; we need all the cred we can muster, thanks to the texsa schools

I gave up at 38-10 but man seeing the Aggies lose like that is a great day. Remember according to many experts they play defense in the SEC.

I agree with you, but I have come to the conclusion that OU can't depend on the B12. We have to win and win convincingly whenever we can, avoid losing to teams that we are supposed to beat by double digits, continue to play a tough non conference schedule, and dominate the conference. And start looking for a way to either strengthen the conference or find a way to join one of the other power 5 conferences. Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, and even Tech and Texas aren't adding much value now, and the future isn't very rosy for these programs short-term. Another couple of years of this is just going to further weaken the B12.

The anoouncers were talking up aggie when they were up 44-10 and how they stomped OU a few yrs back with johnny puke and how great their stadium is now and then the wheels fell off. aggie is nothing more than a mediocre lower tier Big 12 team dressed up with an sec patch on their jersey. All they will ever be.

ESPN talking about the Ags stomping OU a few years back? No mention of OU stomping 'Bama, Tennessee (twice) and Auburn a few years back?

Your talking about a network that picks and chooses what is best for them and their beloved SEC when they bring up subjects. Nothing should surprise anyone when it comes to that bozo network.

Weird that they would be talking about ancient history in conjunction with a colossal collapse. What does the beat down the Aggies put on OU have to do with allowing a team to score 35 points in roll without putting a single point on the board.......having already scoring 44 points? In about one quarter of a football game, no less. LMAO.

Season here for real. Thank God. Switching between the great UCLA comeback, the down to the wire WVa-VaTech game and then overtime with Tenn.-Ga. Tech tonight. Disagree with most about leaving Big 12 as I think OU with Riley can dominate likes Stoops did. No reason to pull a Nebraska for more money and play 4-6 top 25 teams instead of 3-4. Just beat Ohio State. Will never forget the '77 game.
