Thoughts on the conference three games in?
After watching a ton of football, call me cray, but I think the B12 looks like the 2nd best conference in CFB so far, behind the SEC.
ACC - Clemson looks like a top-5 team again, Va Tech looks pretty good (coached by a Sooner), and Miami maybe decent (LSU loss looks better now) but that is IT...the rest of the conference sux balls. Their other big name (FSU) would finish 8th in the B12 this year.
B10 - Similar to ACC...Ohio St is legit, Michigan not a top-10 team, Wiscy beaten by BYU, Penn St looks average.
P12 - Stanford probably a top-10 team, Oregon & Washington probably top-15 teams...thats it. Rest of the conference looks sh!tty.
SEC - Hate'em but they're stacked...Bama, UGA, LSU, Miss St., Auburn all legit.
B12 Rankings & Thoughts...
1. OU - Defense still looks the same after creating some hope in the first two games, but as long as LIncoln is calling plays we should win every conference game.
2. TCU - Thought they looked every bit as good as Ohio St...they just killed themselves with those 3 dumb turnovers. Give tOSU for forcing them and capitalizing, but I think Frog is still the 2nd best team in the conference until I see WVU play again.
3. WVU - not putting them in front of TCU until I see another game, but they look legit.
4. OSU - TCU/WVU/OSU almost all even IMO...but Pokes are WAY better than I thought they'd be this year, and THEY give the conference 4 legit top-15 teams
5-7. UT/Tech/KSU - Don't really know how to rank these three yet, so I'm gonna puss out and put them in a pod. If Horn plays like they did in the 2nd half of the USC game (and I know USC sucks), then they give the B12 5 legit teams. 2nd half, UT looked better against USC than Stanford did...unfortunately, UT has their first 2 games you have to consider too. Tech got crushed by what will turn out to be an SEC bottom-feeder (Ole Miss), so not sure if that is who they are, or the team that put up 63 against Coog High.
8. ISU - are they the team that played OU tough, or the team that stunk it up against an average Iowa team.
9-10. Baylor/Kansas - will let you know how this shakes out after this weekend!
