Congrats V. My first GK is only 8 months old, but he's been a huge bit of enjoyment in our lives already. Enjoy your new role, it's pretty special!

Congratulations. That is awesome. Enjoy every minute. They change so much, so quick the first couple of years.
My only grand daughter is 2 years old. I am amazed at the increased amount of joy she brings me each time I see her.
I can unequivocally tell you, there is nothing, NOTHING greater than having grandchildren.

Thanks, everyone. I hope to have a 5 generation photo in the near future. That's right, MY grandmother is still alive. So one day, this little one can tell her kids; "that's me with my grandpa and my grandpa's grandma."

Congratulations from one grandpa to another!
BTW - my son and his wife are due for their third child on Thursday, 17 September, so I standing by waiting for her arrival. Although they live in the Dallas area, they had the OU flag waving prOUdly and my 17-month old grandson was wearing a Sooner jersey for game day, so I am prOUd of how my son is raising him!!!

My second grandson could be on the Sooners by then. He has been "99th percentile" on height and weight since his first pediatric visit, and is now 2 1/2 but keeps getting mistaken for a 4-year old. And as of last Saturday he could scream "Sooner touchdown!" You've got to get them started early!!! ;-)
