I’m confident that Jackson would have played better had he been allowed to play clean up for Gabriel throughout the season rather than standing around on the sidelines. This was his first real challenge since high school eleven months ago. I think we dodged a bullet. I look for him to perform much better next Friday. He’ll have to for OU to have any chance of playing in the B12 Championship game. Losing the redshirt is/was not going to be an issue for Jackson. Just my opinion.

Edit: I’m making the assumption that Gabriel will not be allowed to participate Friday if his injury is related to another head injury.
