Offense: baker mayfield is the real deal, I feel like he gets better every week, good footwork, makes good decisions other than the pick, thought he had a tuff time finding a rhythm and that had a lot to do with the oline being possibly the worst in the stoops era... Riley has to do a better job getting mixon and Andrews in the mix......
Defense: solid... Mike stoops calling good coverages, loved that he didn't panic and bring in an extra dline when WVU was finding success running and stayed with 007 and striker.... need to be more physical at times on the edge and in press coverage, I believe this unit will be the strongest part of our team when the season's over and probably the best defense we have had in over 7 years...
Special teams: solid... thought they played better in the punt return .... seems like Shepard just won't run if he doesn't have a lot of space. ...
Overall: a win is a win, need to clean up the penalties and cont maturing..... need to find a way to get into a better rhythm on offense earlier.... mixon has to be involved earlier.... mayfield just has to keep getting better, think he has an inflated opinion on his foot speed and looked to run to quickly at times...
