Offense: our inability to adjust to the blitzes in the first half disrupted any hopes of getting a good start, couple of dropped balls and trying to run into the blitz was a disaster, by the time we made adjustments we were in the second half and well behind but baker's inability to recognize the blitzes and get the ball out of his hands quickly sealed the game. ..of course the oline sux but at some point you have to accept who you are and change your run and pass blocking schemes to compensate, Riley just doesn't want to commit to those things and it cost the offense

Defense: didn't play down hill, couldn't shed blocks was playing on their heels... thought our interior backers play'd as bad as I've seen at OU in sometime, fitting in the wrong spots, not reacting fast enough the first 2 steps of the snap, our lack of just being physical at the point of attack or changing the point of attack cost us this game.... Lindley was slow and was blown off the ball several times, striker was absent 95% of game, was a complete non factor which I guess should be expected....

Special teams: cost us big, completely swung the momentum to texas when ross fumbled..... other than that Seibert was the only positive, too bad he is gonna be wasted on this team

Overall: the problems we overcame against tennessee west virginia and tulsa came to bite us in the ass today.... penalties, turnovers, and inconsistency in offense have plagued us all year and the inability of these coaches to fix these known issues is inexcusable....... Defense was good enough... if someone said texas was held to 24 points most people would have thought we would win by double digits....
