The Sooners rose one spot to No. 9 in this week's AP Poll.

After being ranked No. 10 in last week's poll, Oklahoma moved up one spot over its bye weekend.

The top five remained the same as last week as LSU hung on to the top spot, followed by Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson and Penn State. The top two teams will play each other this weekend as the Tigers take on the Crimson Tide at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Around the Big 12, Baylor also moved up one spot to No. 11 after a close 17-14 win over West Virginia. Kansas State jumped up two spots to No. 20. The Wildcats entered the poll last week after beating Oklahoma 48-41, and this week they beat Kansas 38-10.

The Sooners play Iowa State at 7 p.m. in Norman on Saturday.
