-next game after a hugely emotional comeback win against a ranked and upward trending Tennessee team;
-missing the only 2 returning starters on a young and inexperienced OL;
-losing a starting CB just before the game and having true frosh trying to defend against a VERY good passing attack; and
-playing against a pretty damn good passing attack that can put up points in a hurry.
This was a recipe for disaster and required a gritty effort by a team still trying to find itself early in the season.
I'll take the W (and the 3-0 record) ANY day of the week.
