I know OU football is bigger than any one player. But Baker literally turned OU football on it's head. Never have we had one player who influenced the entire competitive culture of every person on the team. Never have we had one player with as much national, regional, and local recognition. Never have we had one player with as much moxie as Baker Mayfield. Never have we had one player who could say something that you would think would come back and bight us because it motivated the other team but what it did was just further motivate every player who came in contact with Baker. Now he's gone. Having a bit of a hard time figuring this out. Love my Sooners!!
