Anyone buying B12 Championship tickets yet?

I got my ticket to sit right here on my couch with the big screen on the wall...

Same here!

Bought a pair six weeks ago. Got a little shaky for a week or two, but OUr guys made it happen last night. On the official site for the conference, they are really expensive. Over $40 in ticket fees per ticket on top of the seat prices already in triple digits.

Since the drive to the stadium for me is less than 40 miles, it's a lot less expensive than the trip to Waco over the weekend. Last year, I saw both Texas games. This year, it appears I will see both OU-Baylor games. I'd say we could use a sweep.

I'm slightly disappointed in the AP ranking today, but I still think we have a chance to make the final four. Not a great chance, but a chance. Taking the handcuffs off the freshman pass catchers last night came just in time. And Jalen finally figuring out how to get the ball to Lee Morris.

So I'll see ya'll and Jerrah World the first weekend of December.

Did you just take a chance on where you would be setting?
I'm not afraid to buy tickets, as I can always resell them if OU were to happen to not make the game.
My concern is buying on the South side and OU's bench being on the North side.

I got better tickets this way. Sitting on the side of the end zone in the 300's. That's why I bought over a month ago. I haven't attended more than three Sooner football games in any year since I graduated. But in this century, I've always seen at least one or two during the regular season.

But I've been to every CCG OU has played in except one. My ex and I separated in 2006 and I missed the Nebraska game in KC. So my tradition is to go to every CCG that I can. It's obviously a whole lot easier in Jerrah World for me than Arrowhead. But watching a game in that stadium in the 400's means mostly watch on the huge tv screen, because the players are so far away. If I'm going to watch on television, I can do that at home.

So I counted on OUr being their, and that is now a 99% chance. And I got a way better seat than you get if you're not a season ticket holder, and buy them later. So I took a little gamble, and did pretty good.

The only thing is, I figured we'd be playing Texas and the seats would be hard to come by. With Baylor the almost certain opponent, I could have bought a ticket on game day for less than face most likely.

On other factor. I've almost always bought football tickets on game day to every Sooner football game in this century. The only time I've been ripped off, was the TCU CCG game. Got sold a counterfeit. So buying in advance from real venders makes more sense. And given that, waiting would just have made my seat location worse.

Gotcha. Looks like 300 end zone seats are fairly available at what I would call reasonable prices.
I hear you on the 400's. We went 2 years ago and sat in the front row of the 400s.
Couldn't see the fans on the opposite side and even though you tried to ignore the big screen and watch live action, the monstrosity just kept drawing your eyes toward it.
