What a piece of work. Figured someone would ultimately find him and have a knuckle party. What's shocking is that he actually messaged me and acted like a normal decent person. Afterwards I was never sure if his spill was and act or he was a tad Schizoid. lol

You're right about the schizoid nature of his posting. I don't think I've seen him post for more than a decade. I figured that he just quit being MUDD or he died. Maybe by now, both maybe. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he spelled Mudd with two D's.

Seems I remember that screen name but no specific content..
RIP Mudd
I fear OU’s precious Senior madam, wife to one of Bud’s boys may have left us too

You are correct Plaino, it was spelled with two D's.

Fitty is still rocking and fixing to move into his dream home within about 100 yards of the shoreline up North of Grove.
I’ll be going to visit him briefly when I am near there around 7/05 or 06.
He still needs someone to get him reinstated on this forum.
Tulsan doesn’t post on here anymore and I haven’t seen Mikee in a long time

Tulsan started TulsaSooner dot com I believe. It may have been a different name, but the guys at then Rivals, now ON3 bought him out. He and his brother posted for a while. I chatted with both of them occasionally and really liked them. After he sold his board, we lost touch. I tried to reach him a couple of times, but fruitlessly. I believe his first name was Daniel. I knew his last name, but at almost 73, I sometimes forget the names of customers I've served for more than four decades. If I heard it on a multiple choice test, I might remember it. He was a really good guy. Met a coupleof times a LOOOONG time ago. Probably over 30 years. For a lot of years there were a lot of good men on these Sooner sites by various labels.

Several years ago, Fitty, SoonerTulsan, iasooner, I think Medic007, and I can't remember who else, met for dinner one Friday night in Tulsa. Had a blast. Great guys. I talked with Fitty not long ago on the phone. Seems to be doing great.

One of the most bizarre posters I ever encountered here was when I first joined up.... OUMallen. Weird dude, always bitching about the Sooners. And of course, Unabubbas. Strange cat.

When you posted that, I remembered that I met SoonerTulsan when my youngest, who is now 25, was a pre-schooler. He brought a similar aged son and they had a great time running around Red Dirt while we chatted before a long ago spring game. He was a really good guy. Do you remember Daniel's last name?

I remember Unabubbas! His avatar was a guy in overalls on a John Deere tractor I believe. His posts were always head scratchers.

The late fortworth4ou was a good friend to me.
His posts were objective and well stated.
We had some good long distance phone conversations as well.

I think Daniel's last name was Harold or something similar. At one time he had an hour radio spot discussing the Golden Hurricane along with some Sooner talk here in Tulsa.

He posted under Tulsa Sooner (the name of his message board), not to be confused with Sooner Tulsan, a prolific poster with over 30,000 posts before he was banned during the purge that took out many of our long-time posters, me included. A special thank you to Brandon Drumm for reinstating me.

The board has definitely calmed down the past few years and I guess that’s a good thing. However I believe with the growth of Facebook groups that all message boards have lost numbers.

Someone needs to help get Fitty reinstated; I have tried to no avail and John promises to behave…

Another one Edrope, not sure how he had it with a capital E or just edrope, basically ED Rope. Been a while since I have seen him. SocklessBlonde too. She posted a few yrs back she was battling cancer but have not seen her post in a while.
Another oldtimer SIT aka Sooner in Texas, hailed from Katy Tx.

There was a long time female poster with the handle Sooner63. She was married to I believe his handle was Resound or something similar. We started a new message board that he funded, but wanted me there because I posted a lot. We agreed that we wanted a Sooner board, but one that you could post about anything, including religion or politics. I used to stay in their house a couple of blocks from the west side of the dorms. A pretty easy walk to the stadium from there.

But since he funding the board, he had the last say. We were political opposites and faith opposites. One day on the board, I posted that it takes more faith to believe that everything evolved from chance, rather than that God did it. He banned me from the board, and I never got to visit their house again. The next couple of times that I came up for a football game, I stayed in OKC. He was a longtime atheist. I believe his first name was Jim. Good guy, but my political and faith view opposite.

There was another female poster who before that, started he own board. I believe it was called OU Boards. I believe her name was Jane Ann. But these days, my memory is not too good. If I saw her handle, I think I'd remember it, but not sure. Her board lasted at least a decade. Both women were as I remember, sorority women at OU. And it was important to them. I liked their posts, which showed a lot of common sense. But there were a ton of longtime posters on one of a few Sooner-themed boards, but if you weren't there, you might not have even known about them. And with the selling that's gone on the last couple of years, with those that ran different boards, who was on the free boards, tended to have a confusing alignment. I'm just glad I get to post on a board where Frou is. Sooner63 was one of about four ladies who bought tickets for us in the 2002 Tulsa game at Chapman, and a bunch of posters got to site together in the top row of the stadium on the west side of the stadium. Meeting Frou for me was that highlight that night.

My remembrance, is that we only led 3-0 at the half, and there was a DL for TU that was dominating OUr offense. Then he got hurt close to halftime, and we won 37-0. We ended up with two conference losses, but beat Washington State in the Rose Bowl. Me memory for old Sooner games is often better than memory for life in general.

That was the 2003 Rose Bowl, one of my favorites & the shirt is still in good shape.
It was a BCS fluke that sent us there when we were chosen over Iowa who still hasn’t won one since the Alex Karas years

I don’t believe there is even a mod on this board anymore. Am I wrong?
Not sure but I doubt it. I'm sure if someone gets crazy out of line a MOD would be notified. I think they all kind of look at this site and self moderate it.

Plaino I will never forget meeting you that was a true hi light in my life for sure!! Always loved checking in and seeing you on the board!! Jane Ann had her own board and I was also a MOD there. It was one of the best personal boards around. Good OU chat and lots of friends. Im so glad there are a few of us still around. Make me feel good to see the familiar names!!!

Another casualty of flipping off Josh M: SoonerInLouisiana (who is live and active on the Pokes politics board)

I have tried logging in on Fitty’s computer in the past and I think I had success with my info but when he tries with his, he’s totally blocked
