I know Steinaur was the DC last year when Fresno State defense had a drastic turn around but Watts also came in last year as the LB coach. He’s now been elevated to DC after Steinaur went back to Hamilton. Fresno State’s defense is even better this year. Currently 8th in Defensive Efficiency per ESPN. He does have previous DC experience at a lower level (Cal Davis)
