Texas will face Arkansas the 2018 Armed Forces Classic. The game will be played on Friday, Nov. 9, from Fort Bliss in El Paso. This is the first time the contest will be held on the United States mainland. The event, owned and operated by ESPN, has previously been played in Germany, Korea, Puerto Rico, Japan, and Hawaii.

Germany, Korea, Puerto Rico, Japan, Hawaii and soon to be El Paso. It's the "ESPN/Longhorn network" business arrangement that got UT in the game. It's gotta be collusion. Robert Mueller where are ya?

They're going to play a college football game between the horns and Hogs at Fort Bliss? Why not play it in El Paso's Sun Bowl? I'm not familiar with Fort Bliss, so does anyone know if they have a stadium that can hold 70K? Or are they going to erect a 70K stadium in time for the game in November? I is confused.

Been to Fort Bliss a few times and I cannot fathom not playing at the Sun Bowl as I’m certainly unaware of no other stadium in the area of more than high school capacity.
