Sup. I am a nerd and a football enthusiast so I am putting together a data sheet of all the recruits since 2013. The goal is to be able to use data to analyze how the program has been progressing or digressing since 2013 in terms of talent and recruiting(My money is on progressing). One of the things I am trying to capture is a score for how good of a player they were in college, and that is very subjective. So I thought I would share with you guys my list and get your thoughts on my rankings. To be honest, I don't remember about half these players, so I am taking feedback and recommendations. I will try and get to 2014 next week because it takes a long time to collect all this data and I also don't want to rush the process. I also want feedback from ya'll so it isn't just my rankings, although since it is my data I get the final say.

On the last three columns are my personal opinion of how I would rate the player's career at OU based on my own rating system, the Rivals Rating System, and the 247 Rating System. My own rating system seems a bit harsh but here is my criteria:

RatingCriteria
100Heisman and Natty
95-99Heisman or top 10 pick
90-941st round pick, all American, or award winner
85-891st through 3rd round, all big 12
80-842nd or 3rd team all big 12, drafted
75-79drafted, UDFA, Exceptional Role Player
70-74Good Role Player
65-69Average Role Player, is replaceable
60-64Bad Starter/ Great Bench Player
55-59Good bench player to have
50-54a bench player who might see the field
45-49Worth a roster spot/Special Teams
45 and belowShould not be on team

Some notes on my rating system. Some of this is opinion based. For instance, say I thought Isaiah Thomas was robbed of first team all big 12, I might consider him first team all big 12 even though he didn't technically win the award. The other important criteria is that I base this off of a championship caliber school such as a Bama or Clemson, because that should be the standard at OU. Meaning just because a player was an average role player during 2014 for the Sooners, he would not be an average role player for a championship team. So these are almost more like guidelines than hard rules. My data for 2013 is below. Please point out any errors in my ways.
