Does the QB who wins Bedlam also win the 1st team all big 12? I don't think Sanders has been first team all big-12 good, but I'm not really sure ANY QB has been All Big-12 good this season, at least not compared to QBs in years past.
I thought that as well but his team went 7-5 and he wasn't the star that carried that team. Plus their getting a first team RB and TE. Their offense wasn't good enough to warrant 3 first teamers. Which to me leaves OSU's Sanders, who's been a steady eddie type QB leading the best team in the conference (if OSU wins bedlam). While Williams for OU has been by far the most exciting of the QBs in the conference, the current narrative is that he's struggled the last two games against better defenses. But if he were to beat OSU, that would be forgotten. I think the winner of this game wins All Big12 First Team QB. Then I expect Purdy to be everyone's #2. And the losing qb of bedlam will be honorable mention.Maybe Purdy wins by default
The kid from Baylor might get a call, but it's probably the I-State QB.
I'm not sure anyone has earned it when comparing the performances against past all-Big12 QBs. That said, if I had a ballot, I would have Sanders 1 and Williams 2.It's Sanders because nobody else deserves it. Sad year for QB play in the conference.
