This thread isn’t about the defense not because I don’t think it sucks, I do, but I still have faith for the rest of the season.
Absolutely gutsy performance in the 4th. With our backs against the wall we delivered and came up just short. The game was awesome and we learned a lot.
We’ve made it to two playoffs with regular season losses, so it’s definitely possible to do it a third time.
We got two weeks to regroup for the final half of the season. Let the cards fall and handle our business and we’ll be in the big 12 championship game to play for a spot in the playoffs. A possible 2nd chance at UT in Jerry world??? We’ll be ready and I think that would do wonders for our playoff chance to make up for our only loss on the season.
Obviously the d can hold us back but maybe this loss will ignite a new flame for them. I’m not expecting some humongous turnaround since were stuck with mike for the season, but we can only go up from here (I hope).
Just a little improvement from the d and we could find ourselves in the final 4 again. Now will we be able to beat anyone in the top 4?........ I’ll worry about it if I have to
