A home game for Dayton

Haven't been here in a week so my apologies if this has been discussed. As soon as the brackets were announced last Sunday, the most glaring and upsetting thing to me wasn't who got in or who was left out, but that if winning in the First Four in Dayton, Dayton was going an hour and fifteen minutes down the road to Columbus. A virtual home game for an 11 seed against a 6 seed. And now, even worse, you have an 11 seed with, most assuredly, an even greater home court advantage over a 3 seed. In my opinion, there are enough locations that this should never happen. Especially in favor of a team seeded as low as 11. I was always under the impression that this kind if favoritism was reserved for top 4 seeded teams. It was bad enough when the 2003 team, a 1 seed, had to play Syracuse in NY, Albany I believe. But this is ridiculous. I know, there will be those that say you're a 3, it shouldn't matter where the game is played. But this is the NCAA tournament and we all know what can happen. Dayton shouldd not have been placed in Columbus where it will be a full house in their favor tomorrow afternoon.

Agree, and if you watched the first game, it was called like a home game. Dayton got to the line 30 times, compared to 7 for Providence.

Unlucky draw. The Pierre kid will be a tough matchup for OU. Well coached team, playing what essentially amounts to a home game. Shooting 37% isn't going to cut if for OU in this one...have to be better.

Brentwood Sooner, I hope you have psychic powers!! I think it sucks that an 11 seed basically gets a home game! They have gotten a lot of the calls in both their games! I hope they are tired and we shoot better!!!
