A few questions I asked Josh that I thought I would ask everyone else

1) What do you think it is that doesn't allow OU defensively to get lined up right when the opposing team shifts a tight end, H back or other receivers. I am assuming these kids know they don't need to be out numbered so badly on one side to get gashed.

2) Why do you think they didn't run more of a 3-3-5 yesterday since they seem to be stuck on the 3 down linemen. Let Kelly see if he could run with some of the Texas big inside receivers instead of leaving Justin Broiles in an unwinnable position.

3) Do you think it is scheme that Mike wants the D line to stand up and try and read there gap as opposed to attacking the gap? It seems like the OU defensive line never gets penetration and never seems to attack their gaps. Is this because they are physically to small to hold the line of scrimmage with the three guys we have?

4) The offensive line to me seemed to gel some yesterday, although Texas was inviting OU to run the ball, so I was glad to see that.

Just wanted to mainly get your thoughts on the defensive side of the ball. I have been saying I believe there was a change that was needed prior to Bob retiring. It seems to me that OU got burned by Mbanasor and they decided they were never going to recruit another DB again. The difference between OU and the elite programs across the country is they have db's who hit. I haven't seen OU's defensive back field come down and really hit someone consistently in quite a while. I think a large part of it is they just don't have the size, wanted to get your thoughts on this as well.
