-- [Dolphins] Ray Drew just beat Dionte Savage for a would-be sack.

-- Jordan Phillips, who weighs 330 pounds, said he only did his back flips for Oklahoma teammates once. He said he doesn't have plans to do any for Miami.

-- [Dolphins] DT Jordan Phillips having good success in drills. Looks impressive.

-- [Dolphins] DT Jordan Phillips (6-6, 334), is a towering presence.

-- Oklahoma O-lineman Dionte Savage [Dolphins] looks like a body builder. Massive arms.

-- Mountain of a Man: Second round pick Jordan Phillips was hard to miss during rookie minicamp. Listed at 6’6” and 334-pounds, he’s a hulking presence on the field. Standing next to him, it’s easy to understand what the Dolphins brass envisioned when it made him the #52 overall pick in the draft. His blend of size and athleticism will be awesome to watch when he’s lined up on the defensive line alongside the likes of Ndamukong Suh, Cam Wake, Olivier Vernon, and Earl Mitchell.

-- The biggest take away on [Dolphins] Jordan Phillips Friday: The man is NFL-strong. And he’s self-aware, acknowledging that he simply didn't do enough at Oklahoma to be a first-round pick.

-- Former Oklahoma cornerback Julian Wilson, who joined the Ravens on a $9,000 signing bonus after being sought by the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Atlanta Falcons and Cleveland Browns, suffered a broken leg Friday that required surgery. He is out for the season.

"Julian Wilson, young corner for us, was doing a really nice job," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "He fell awkwardly on a route that he was covering and he broke his lower leg. He'll be out for the year. He'll move on from that. He'll still be with us and be a part of us. He's got a lot of potential as a player. I was disappointed in that sense."

-- [Titans] Draft Pick: C Andy Gallik.
Veterans on the spot: Brian Schwenke, Gabe Ikard.
How it will shake out: Schwenke isn't going anywhere. Injuries have slowed his progress in the league, but he's a talented player who should be a starter in the middle of the offensive line this fall. Gallik has a solid chance to land a job on the 53-man roster as a backup, but he's probably going to need to bump Ikard, who was viewed as a gem before he was injured last offseason, to do it.

-- [Chiefs] James Winchester is an interesting story. He served as Oklahoma’s long snapper last season, but is working as a wide receiver at minicamp. The only receiving he did for the Sooners was as a scout team player. While Winchester struggled with some of the footwork drills, he made several nice catches in 7-on-7 including a leaping grip during the 11-on-11 team period.

-- With Thomas Gafford now in Chicago, there will be a new long snapper for the Chiefs for the upcoming 2015 season. Right now, the competition for the job is between James Winchester out of Oklahoma and the newly signed Andrew East from Vanderbilt.

-- According to Cecil Lammey of Bleacher Report, the Broncos would wise to look at help [at TE] on the free agent market. Jermaine Gresham highlights the group of players still available. The issue is how much Denver will spend. The reason Gresham is still available is because he is looking for more money than teams are willing to give and he also wants a big role on the team. Denver might not be looking for that type of player.
