#91, watch for it

In about 15 minutes at 6:30, Lauren Chamberlain will get her first at bat tonight against OSU in Stillwater. She will be trying to hit #91 and set the NCAA record for career home runs tonight. She has 90, having hit #90 Saturday against Baylor. It will be live on FSN. In Dallas, that is UVerse 648.

OSU didn't pitch to Lauren, for a reason. She was walked, hit by a pitch, and walked. Then, she hit an opposite field single that hit about two feet from the top of the wall in right on a line drive that was so hard that the runner on first couldn't make it to third, on a drive off the wall. It did bounce right back to the right fielder. But, it was smoked. They walked Lauren the next time she came up. She was at the plate five times with only one official at bat. Nobody wants to be the one who surrenders #91.
