4 team playoff is fine.. how about a 14 game schedule instead.

week 3 vs Mizzou- none conference game
week 4 vs Ohio State- none conference game
week 5- Kansas
bye
week 6- Texas Tech
week 7- West Virginia
week 8- Iowa State
week 9- Texas
week 10- TCU
bye
week 11- Baylor
week 12- Oklahoma State
week 13- Kansas State
Week 14- Florida State- Miami- South Carolina etc- none conference game
week 15- Championship game- Big 12 title game
week 16- playoffs or bowl game.
