Hope so. The secondary has a depth issue according to Grinch.I hear it's a Bigtime Safety...
Brian Branch was leaning yesterday but forsake us for the Tidewho?
^this. bamanation claims he wanted to commit last week so its unlikely LR thought had him as one of the 3 eyesBrian Branch was leaning yesterday but forsake us for the Tide
A new age may be upon us.....we can express concern about the defense here without offending or pissing off someone.
Grinch may be the best DC in CFB, but he needs players and depth at every position to succeed. When ?
The defense HAS BEEN an afterthought, but Grinch's hire has to be viewed as a step in the right direction.I don't think the defense is an afterthought. Half of the 2019 class is defensive recruits. Given the change in coaching, and the impact that could have had on recruits, that is great. While there is only one current defensive commit for 2020, it is early yet. I don't think it reflects on recruiting afterthought or reputation damage.

2019 may represent a less challenging schedule as West Virginia and O-State have new QBs. OU does too, but Hurts is a proven commodity who has come from a conference where defense is played better.
That was KM's playbook; LR will have a totally new playbook this yearwvu also has a qb with the ou playbook
