You simply couldn’t have asked for this period to have gone better for our program. After struggling last year we bounce back with a very impressive 10-2 record with a huge win over UT and come up 8 points short of going 12-0.
We will also have another top ranked recruiting class that is filled with the type of players we will need to have success in the SEC. Without the success we had this year I don’t know if that happens.
And getting ready for the SEC is what it is ALL about. Not winning the B12 in our last year doesn’t mean s**t - we have been there and done that many times. The fact that we didn’t make a NY6 bowl is also inconsequential.
We also know now that we have the right coach to lead our program. BV has been learning to be a head coach the past 2 years and I think he has done a wonderful job. Feel pretty confident that guy is going to be one of the top coaches in the SEC the next decade.
