HS senior-to-be RB Zach Evans from North Shore HS in Houston TX today slimmed his future college school from a starting list of 44 schools to just 5. OU is in that mix. The previous list included Tx and TXam, schools the 24/7 recruiting site actually had predicted as possible landing spots for the outstanding running back from the aggies/whorns backyard. Yet the list today had them noticeably absent, but did include such perennial powers as OU, Oh St, and Bama. Rounding out the final 5 were LSU and Georgia, although Evans did not list any school as higher in ranking than another. Evans is a punishing speedster with a state championship and a 2,000 yard rushing season in his recent background.
