I posted this on another thread, but thought i would make it its own thread.

OU has played football every year since 1895.

Excluding seasons with less than 8 games (1895-1901), OU has had just nine (9) undefeated seasons. (If you wish to include every year, they only have 12 undefeated seasons).

Chew on that for a moment.

STOOPS has had 1.
SWITZER had 2
WILKINSON had 4
OWEN had 2

In that same time frame, OU has had just 18 one (1) loss seasons.

STOOPS has had 1
SWITZER had 6
WILKINSON had 6
OWEN had 2
FAIRBANKS had 2
STIDHAM had 1

In fact OU has an average loss per season of 1.945 losses per season when talking about seasons with 8 or more games (110 seasons).
