Maybe Beaver can screen shot it but he says Texas has surged ahead on both Johnson and Wheaton. If he were betting he would bet in Wheaton to UT.

Some of you folks really need to get a grip and alter your perceptions and priorities.

I love football. LOVE IT. And I love OU. But, it is still just a game. This isn’t life or death, but the way some of you guys act, you’d think that whether Camar signs with the good guys or not will have some determining factor on your life.

I mean, come on guys. It’s a game played by 18-22 year old kids. And with recruiting, you allow the decisions of 16-18 year old kids to impact your emotional well being. Get. A. Grip.

Sure, I want OU to sign every 5 star and win every game by 50 while stacking trophies. But that’s not how this works. The Whorns regularly out recruit OU and then do nothing with that talent. Rinse repeat.

Just have fun with the game - and remember that it is just a game.

Well this is something I wasn't expecting. Grant Calcaterra announces he will return to football but won't be returning to Oklahoma.

It’s blasphemy, for sure, but I never thought I could actually come around to the feeling/thought that if the college football season really never gets going or gets shut down at some point, it might not be the worst thing now for our Sooners. I’m starting to get there.
From all the injuries, to rumored growing number of key opt-outs, to ridiculous suspensions and lack of depth and experience in some spots, we might be better off in terms of recruiting by putting no product on the field in 2020 rather than one that’s not up to OU expectations or standards ... also know as the Texas approach to every season and its negative effect on recruiting once they actually put the ball in play.
Am I’m wrong? I’m sure you’ll tell me, if so. : )

The choice was a sudden one? He has many choices, why Texas? Coach on hot seat, offense questionable and developing of players non-existent. I would have waited and see how season plays out before making choice! But possible good of choice is Texas will probably keep herman now afraid of losing Ewers.

Doesn't appear his name comes up in recruiting like it used to.

As a Pride if Ok Alum, not sure who here cares to know the plans, but thought I’d share. This is directly from Brian Britt, Director of the Pride, to Pride Alums...


“Greetings, Fellow Band Alumni -



A lot has happened this week regarding the Pride and the upcoming football season. I want to update you on our plans as they currently stand.



We have spent the last several months conferring with OU Athletics and working to find the safest and best options for band participation this fall. Everyone at OU Athletics has been open to our ideas and ultimately have supported the plan that we submitted for their consideration. Given the reduced capacity and social distancing guidelines, we are planning to do the following:



We will divide the Pride into 4 pep bands of 80 members. Each of these bands will play at one home game. Additionally, the Baylor Game (Senior Day) will be covered by a senior pep band that will be rounded out with additional leaders and upperclassmen.



Athletics offered for us to march on game day, but we didn't think that performing with an 80-member band would be as effective as producing a video of the full band. So, we will prepare halftime shows with the FULL band and video tape them in the stadium prior to each home game. These videos will be shown on the SoonerVision scoreboard at halftime.



Since it is impossible to socially distance our traditional pregame, we will produce a multi-cam version of recent years' pre-game performance videos (including visiting team fight songs for each game) and the National Anthem. This will ensure that the pregame show we all know and love continues to keep its important place on Sooner Gameday Saturdays.



The main goals we are pursuing this season are:

1) Keep everyone physically healthy and safe

2) Do our part to help keep everyone mentally healthy during this challenging time.

3) Connect our students to each other as a band and to the university we serve.

4) Provide the safest musical and artistic performance outlet we can.

5) Keep the tradition of the Pride of Oklahoma alive and well for the future as we support our Sooners to another successful season.



We will provide a safe, successful, and rewarding year for these current students. THANK YOU for supporting the students this season with your prayers and your encouragement. We really appreciate it.

Just dove into this head first. This stuff is hard, but my company is stuck in 1993 and I want to innovate our group. My boss has given me the green light, but I gotta be honest I’m struggling. I’ve watched a few tutorials, but I want to build a dashboard that I can eventually just have my Data auto integrate into power BI from Office 365 that is stored in there through our outside sources.

Anyone a pro at Microsoft Power BI?
