I gotta say, I haven't watched many of his TV shows until tonight ...
But I think watching it helped me feel a little bit better. It shows us just how one mental lull or blown assignment here or there in so many of our games made such a huge difference in what really could have been an 8-4 or 9-3 season - and then, we're all feeling a lot better.
I realize that's football, but it also makes you realize - combined with the futt-bucking we've taken from Big 12 officiating all year - that we might also be the most unlucky 6-6 team in the nation.
On top of the untimely blunders, not one significant call or late-game break went our way, all season.
Getting BV's take while going over the highlights, you can tell in his voice it's killing him - especially on D - watching guys make the same mistakes over and over. Or seeing one of your best defenders all season (Bowman) become your worst for one night.
And you can also tell there are maybe some offensive play calls he doesn't agree with ... like the Stoops pass to DG in OT, when BV says something to the effect of "I really don't like getting our QB1 hit like that."
Worth a watch if you need a small pick-me-up. If BV can stay positive through all this mess, I can at least try.😀

First I have heard this, but Jim saying he is hearing Brent and Bob don’t get along? Bob has publicly supported them through this entire season. Just thought that was kind of weird. I just assumed they are close…
Probably just rumors, but weird to come out and say that.

-Ranked 6th in the country in Interceptions

-Ranked 114th in Total Defense


I was shocked to hear someone say we were ranked so high in tackles for loss..I literally can’t remember more than a few tackles for loss all year.

And it doesn’t seem possible to be so horrible at defense if you are living in the backfield and picking off a lot of passes.

His 1st and 2nd down numbers are right up there with the previous OU guys.

But the wheels fall off on 3rd and 4th for whatever reason. 104.3 rating on 3rd down passing is horrrible. Really struggles moving the chains.

I have seen several bowl projections for us all over - however this one makes decent sense. If the BIG 12 Bowl connections don't have to pick by record then why wouldn't we be the top choice after TCU/KSt/Texas... That would put us in the Cheez It Bowl -- I am sure @Carey Murdock @Eddie_Rado and @BPrzybylo would love a trip to Orlando over Christmas break... haha

I’m just telling you what I heard. A&M fired their “OC” today and want to adopt the Briles offense. Both Lebby and Briles want assurances in writing and whatever else have you that Jimbo will let them do what they want. I heard it on the McCready and Siskey livestream that is currently airing on Youtube. They podcast isn’t even uploaded yet. I’ll come back around and link it when it’s over. Say what you want, but McCready is dialed in on coaching search stuff. He heard that from somewhere.

While we will probably continue to have OL declare early who aren’t even Day 2 picks (Morris). Why do you see this happen a lot at OU while other schools can usually convince their guys to stay?

...potentially close the portal floodgates with the win over LSU this weekend? Suddenly all the Aggy fans are talking about how bright the future is down there with Weigman and that class they bought. Two weeks prior they were all cashing in their piggy banks and establishing a go-fund-me for Jimbo's buyout.

Guess we will see on Dec 5 when the portal opens since they aren't going to a bowl game...but seems like they potentially averted some level of disaster with that win. FUBK!
