We're now ranked number 11 in the Rivals team recruiting rankings for 2023 and number 10 on 247. And maybe at least two or three more this month.
This kid reminds me of Isaiah Simmons, BV can play this kid in multiple spots, This is a very good get. This defensive class is going to be the best in the last 20 years for OU.
Really hope we can get Renaud, Hicks, & LeBlanc. I would be satisfied with even one of those 3.
Hicks is almost a lock for TAMU. I'm told that Renaud is down to Bama and OU. Florida has the edge over OU for LeBlanc but we still have a fighting chance.
He's recruited as a linebacker.
If you're concerned about his size, remember that OU has had several solid linebackers who were 6'0",,,,Bolton, Striker, Wort and last year, DeShaun White.....and Switzer had George Cumby, who I saw make an incredible tackle against Earl Cooper of Rice in 1979.
And many more who were "only" 6'1".

His videos show him as both a RB and a LB.
247 Sports lists him as a LB.
Bottom line: he's a big time recruit.
Right now, we have Smothers, McCarty and Kalib Hicks listed as running backs in this class. I kinda doubt we're looking at Carter as a running back.
One thing I have noticed with Coach V’s recruiting is that he is getting his guys. These aren’t players that are options B, C, or D. He is not scrambling with lots of extra offers trying to fill out a roster.
And he is going to places like NY, NJ and Pennsylvania......while hitting Dixie too.
Very impressed with the national footprint he is making with his recruiting efforts.
Bench presses 400lbs. A Perine kind of guy. LB or RB....he is one strong dude.
