Darryl Hamilton, who was the starting centerfielder on the Rangers' first division champion in 1996, was found dead, a victim of an apparent murder - suicide, involving his long time girl friend with whom he had a 14 month old child.
Hamilton, 50, had multiple gun shot wounds. His girl friend had one apparent self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Hamilton most recently was an analyst on the MLB Network. He also played for the Brewers, Giants, Rockies and Mets.
