Matt Rhule named Nebraska head coach

Glad to hear of Ruhle getting the NU job. Ii will take time, but I believe he will return Nebraska to better days.

Carolina is loving it. They still owe Rhule about $40M but whatever Nebraska pays him will come off that number dollar for dollar. So the way that I look at it is Rhule is coaching Nebraska free.

Now the question for me is.... between OU and Nebraska, which team becomes relevant again first? Or will both slip away into being average programs?
It's a race between Rhule and Venables and right now, with the way recruiting is setting up, Venables has the inside track.
Nebraska doomed itself by leaving the Big12 and may never recover and OU has to deal with the debris left behind by Riley's gutless and dishonest exit. (My issue with Riley isn't because he sought "greener pastures", but the WAY he did it was unforgiveable, and it will take a great effort to restore OU's place among the elites).
