McCain is a war hero. No doubt. Trump shouldn't have said, "I like people who weren't captured". That was dumb. But outside of that, I'm glad he fired back at McCain. Yes, fired back. McCain fired the first shot calling Trump supporters "crazies". Where is the outrage over that?

McCain is a do-nothing career politician. He's done nothing on immigration and has done nothing to fix the VA mess. A large number of vets don't exactly love McCain, especially Vietnam war vets. Trump will get the VA fixed if elected.

Any presidential candidate that flips off both parties and the media (and pisses them off) is fine with me. It's been a long time since a non-politician ran for president. It's quite refreshing.

Yep, McCain can only get so many points for being a POW, and he burned them a long time ago.
FDR wasn't initially very popular when he began his first tenure in office. However he knew what needed to be done to right the ship in a desperate time in history, and he had the balls to do it.
There is a good reason that Trump is leading in most if not all these polls...he's saying the exact words that most of us are so desperate to hear.

This country is at the crossroads.

I think we've already passed that intersection. This nation is undergoing enormous and rapid changes. And it isn't looking good for social and fiscal conservative folks. No need for me to go into all that in this thread. I avoid writing long and boring posts that nobody reads.

As for Trump, the primaries are 8 months away and the election is still 16 months away. There is no way to know who will win their primaries. If Trump goes independent, the dems are guaranteed 100% to win office. It'll be Ross Perot II. For now, I am loving seeing Trump make heads explode. That is a sign that he is doing something right.

I've heard more than once the theory that Trump is a DNC plant. If true, it is ingenious scumbag slimery (that may backfire on the DNC). However, I don't place that much confidence in the intelligence of political parties in general. It's a fun theory to ponder though.

Nothing....nota. I taught my children there would be consequences on anything they made a mistake on. Just deal with it and don't make the same mistake again.
