Apparently Tito Windham is gone. Looks like Bob is starting at the back of the alphabet and moving forward.

That is being reported on the premium site, but not by the site. Two different posters have claimed inside information.

Maybe Bob should start massively over signing on his recruiting classes to make up for the atrocious attrition his recruiting classes have been suffering the last 3-4 years.
Understanding that every program has some degree of attrition......maybe Bob should do a better job investigating a high school player's background....and that of the player's parent(s). Recruit the parents first, then the athlete.
This crap is getting old.

Yall don't fire anyone at work? Everyone your company hires works out?

You are talking about 17-20 year old kids that move away from home and are suddenly thrust into a completely different environment. Some of them make mistakes, some of them change their character, etc. Every program has kids leave whether they choose to or whether they are asked to.

Seems maybe Bob laid down some guidelines for behavior and some guys didn't take it seriously and now are being dealt with.

Not only getting old, but also concerning. TFB did a couple of pieces that showed that from the 2011, 2012, and 2013 recruiting classes, nearly 40% of those kids ended up leaving the program. That seems incredibly high. Like you said CT, every program has attrition. But I would be interested in seeing how that 40% compares to other top programs in the country.

I Googled this young man, and checked him out on Facebook and Twitter. Very Interesting! It wouldn't surprise me if he has left the team in pursuit of Personal Goals. I got the feeling that he was intelligent, well read, and possibly preparing himself for life outside of sports.

Of course, negative happenings aren't mentioned on his Social Media Sites, so there may be extenuatings...

Jury is out...

There is some new information. Apparently the issue for Young was class attendance.

Windham was not dismissed. He was further down on the depth chart than he liked and decided to transfer. So this one was not about Bob but about teen impatience.

Good post Dallas.
This is not a bob Stoops deal, nor a OU deal. This happens every year to everyone, including a tremendous amount of turnover in the corporate world. Hell coaches flip on players at every level from JrJigh to Pro, it's just part of the biz. And attempting to rank someone by a year or two doesn't work because there are too many variables that come into play. The SEC over signs to accomodate this problem. It's business as normal over there.
