It just occurred to me, and I referenced @Josh_M ’s Two Deep Delp after the Spring Game, but we have 4 players from last year’s defensive starters that will start for this year’s defense. They would be Coe at DT, Stutsman at LB, and Washington and Bowman in the secondary. You can make the argument about Laulu, but he’s moving to a new position. Everybody else has already been recruited over, or graduated. The only starter from last year’s defense that might be able to get snaps on this year’s top group would be White at LB because our LB’s are inexperienced behind Stutsman. This year’s defense is going to be miles more talented than last year’s group. I feel good about where this is going.
